Gabriella has a traveling soul. Italian by birth and Parisian by adoption, she has crisscrossed the globe. Born in Turin, she enjoyed a well-behaved childhood there. Her Hungarian grandmother taught her how to embroider while her mother represented model of eternal elegance. As an eighteen-year-old art student in search of freedom, Gabriella discovered Paris and its wild nightlife. Then, like the artists who went off to study humanities in the 19th century, she parted for the Silk Road, following the last of the psychedelic dandies. In Bali, the thousand-year-old batik technique for printing silk inspired her to create her first range of pareos. Taking the word batik, Gabriella added antic, for the rhyme, and because it sounded good in all languages. Having discovered India, she explored other types of techniques: embroidery, bandhani: an artisanal dyeing process. In 1992, Antik Batik was born.

Whether it means partnering with manufacturers in Uganda, Peru, Bangladesh, or around the corner in Los Angeles, the Partons have used their model of “advocacy through industry” to empower people to determine their own future.

There once was a fashion stylist who believed vacations were better enjoyed with a flat stomach. But she also adhered to the mantra, “Live everyday like a vacation.” So when she found herself noshing on fleur de sel chocolate chip cookies a week before a trip to Belize with the hubby-to-be, she just wasn’t feeling that hot. She definitely wasn’t feeling beach-ready. Looking for a quick fix to erase all those late nights of malbec and triple creme brie, she solicited the advice and mentoring of her hot, skinny friends along with some pretty awesome and well educated nutrition experts. This research led her to create her own seven-day skinny cleanse, and in one week, she left on her vacation not only 10 pounds lighter but 100 times happier -- ready to wear her teensiest bikini and make love with the lights on every night. When she returned home from her travels, the vacation photos were epic. Let’s just say the Instagram likes set records. Clearly, this bikini body secret was too juicy to keep to herself. She had to share it with her girlfriends and clients, so BIKINICLEANSE was born. Since its launch, bikini sales have skyrocketed. Nudity is at an all-time high. And gentlemen everywhere are getting laid with the lights on.
The rest is history.

When you first stumble across a Boys and Arrows swimsuit you will be overcome by the urge to smile. Each piece was dreamt up while laughing, passing the day soaking up the sun or dancing in the beginning raindrops of some tropical storm in some far off place. Or sitting wrapped in a Mexican blanket, around a smoldering fire, content to be in the moment, yet smirking about the possibility of tomorrow...
Meagan Howard is the owner, designer, creator, and brain of the Boys and Arrows brand. In order to make some sort of sense out of this complex yet refreshingly simple girl, I think it best to talk for a second about the Meagan
I know, thinker, lover, laugher, giver, sister, doer, and real world friend.
Meagan the thinker has a huge heart, and is always putting others before herself. Her greatest hope in all she does is that her work will somehow shine some light, bring a smile, or add some strength and new inspiration to the life of a friend. Meagan's compassion finds it's expression, for now, within her unique designs, her approach to business, and her thoughts of you, strong, happy, and maybe even better, for a moment, in the Boys and Arrows bikini she has created. I can assure you that the suit you're wearing was created with a huge smile, as Meagan filled herself with an image of YOU, her friend, locked-in, and enjoying her most precious creation.
Meagan has never been afraid to step out of her comfort zone and take a leap of faith into the unknown and often quite scary landscape where dreams have the possibility to become reality. That very fact is the only reason Boys and Arrows exists.
In a word, she is a firecracker. And that is kind of, well rather exactly, a clear reflection of her company, the swimwear line, the dream, the idea, and the brand Boys and Arrows.

Carrie Forbes, known as one of the most innovative designers in the Italian luxury handbag industry, has taken her artistry to shoes. Having first launched her brand in 1989 in Los Angeles, Forbes created a much coveted, modern version of hand crocheted handbags. Her collection sold to top luxury retailers around the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, and Neiman Marcus. She gained the attention of several high fashion magazines including Vogue, WWD, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
Following the success of her handbag collection, Forbes moved to Europe to hone her skills in the capital of luxury leather goods: Florence, Italy. She has spent the last decade freelancing with some of the most prestigious Italian luxury fashion houses including Armani, Fendi, Vionnet, Etro and Ferragamo, enhancing her hand-woven talents and expertise.
Eventually, Forbes was inspired to cultivate her artistry while exploring Turkey and Morocco, countries known for their prolific handcrafted traditions. For spring 2014, Forbes has launched a collection of hand-woven raffia shoes from Morocco, comprised of a weave indigenous only to their culture. It takes up to a full day to weave just one shoe, and their extreme comfort is due to the laborious oil and water treatment of the raffia, along with the precise weaving created for each design.

Every free moment was spent on beaches from RV weekends at San Onofre to years living in the jungles of Sayulita, Mexico.
Dos Gardenias focuses on monochromatic colors defined by bold design lines with a utilitarian fit. It was important to give the option of separates where women would have the ability to purchase silhouettes with what made sense with their body type. In addition, Brighdie and Dorothy felt adding a neoprene surf element was extremely significant in defining their brand, as it represented both of their lifestyles. Made with luxury fabrics from Italy and France and Neoprene from Japan, the collection is produced in the USA.

They combined their passion for the beach with their industry experiences to launch a new collection during an important turning point in swimwear. Jordyn, a merchandiser and stylist, joined with model Ludi, to create the needed niche in the market they hadn’t seen through years of being in retail. Ludi, who has modeled thousands of bikinis in her career, has also become an expert on not only the feel of bikinis but the functionality as well. Combining their experiences led to creating a collection that is stylish, flattering, and functional.

En shalla Born in morocco Bred in London. A fun, must-have fashion brand established in 1999 by Maryam and Daren Bonar. This Anglo-Moroccan company focuses on high end accessories and ready to wear items blending North African art with modern fashionable ideas. The core of the brand lies in the hand-made aspect. We noticed when we first started to visit Marrakesh local artisans lacked consistency in their work, and the quality of materials which were being used were not always up to scratch. There was a great potential in the skill and workmanship that we saw, yet we felt it had to be fused with another mind set. There was a large gap between what our clientele wanted, and what was being produced in Morocco. 'Why not mix the best of what both worlds had to offer ? We employ local artisans in our factory and also work with women's groups in and around Marrakesh. Itis important in our eyes to give back to the community and to try and keep alive these methods which have been used in Morocco for centuries. We also work with materials that are recycled and all the leather that we use is naturally vegetable-dyed. All our pieces are hand made to order. We create a collection each season and because we have access to all this talent we can accommodate clients’ tastes and wishes: changing colours and sometimes materials enables us to provide our clients with unique items that they can be the only ones to offer their customers. There are very few brands offering this kind of couture service. We are based in Marrakech, yet the brand is British and has grown to be one of the most established Moroccan inspired brands in the world En Shalla currently shows at fashion weeks around the world and has opened over 350 accounts worldwide. We hope you will have as much fun going through our collections and wearing them, as we have had making them.
Regards Daren and Maryam Bonar

The inspiration for Hartford was born by a Frenchman living in NYC in 1979.
Yves Chareton arrived in NYC with the idea to recreate '50s vintage shirts he found in flea markets in Paris. Thanks to a manufacturer who believed in his vision, Yves launched a casual and cool line of vintage-inspired shirts that became instant hits. Fans such as Bruce Springsteen ordered dozens of Hartford shirts for his tours. Hartford quickly became synonymous with quality fabrics, rich colors and authenticity.
In 2000, persuaded by customers and press, Yves decided to expand his universe by launchign a vintage-inspired beachwear collection. On the heels of that success, he then added a womens line and kids collection. Hartford is designed in paris and made in Morocco under Yves' watchful eye, and every collection is created with the same enduring philosophy upon which the Hartford label was originally created.
Visit any of Hartford's boutiques in Paris, the South of France or St. Barths, and you will see for yourself why Hartford is synonymous with casual luxury.
